You shouldn't do that. Actually the streams are not meant to be opened
and closed all the time. You should plot something, save it or whatever
and then use pladv() to clean the plot and proceed. You use several
streams only if you need several plots at the same time - I think nobody
hardly needs more than 100 plots concurrently.

The "->new" constructor assigns a unique filename. For what I
understand, advancing to next subpage/page will create a new page on the
same file. This is useful in most situations, but I need to create a
movie from all the -separate- output files.
Use a hundred of simultaneous plots is for sure hardly needed , but I'm
thinking about hundreds of subsequent new/close calls.
Do you think there is any contraindication in doing that stream_number
decreasing in close() call?
