Is there a method of plotting a 2D line graph, where the colour of the line varies along its length?
In GnuPlot this could be done with the 'linecolor rgb variable' macro, for example (which causes the line to change between 3 colours representing lock state): plot "484799.059" using 1:5:(stringcolumn(2) eq "L1_INT" ? ($6==1 ? rgb(0,255,0):rgb(255,0,0)) : rgb(220,220,220)) with lines linecolor rgb variable title "" Cheers, Simon (aka Mungewell) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
