Hi,

No problems on Win32 *producing* xfig files - and they display fine on
linux. But how do we view these files on Windows ?

I've downloaded WinFIG-4 and it doesn't display the xfig files as one would
like. It's probably serviceable, but *not* good enough, imo. (Perhaps
registering WinFIG enables a better display - but that costs $35.00 USD, and
that's not acceptable to me, either.)

Is there some other way of viewing xfig files on Windows ?

Also, how do I build in the capability of outputting png files ? If I engage
the services of Gtk+ I can get that capability - but it relies on the
presence of a number of Gtk+ dll's. I would rather avoid all of that bloat
and build in png support utilising only png and zlib libraries (which I
already have) if possible.

Cheers,
Rob
