Hi, I'm new to PLplot, and have a few questions to be able to decide if it is the right tool for my job or not. Sorry, these are pretty basic, but I could not find the answers yet.
1.: Is there a device to get results in a memory buffer as ARGB? Is there an example demonstrating this? 2.: Can something like http://cairographics.org/samples/rounded_rectangle/ be done with PLplot easily? If yes, what are the keywords here? 3.: How feature-rich is text rendering in PLplot? Something like http://cairographics.org/samples/text/ is possible (different text fill and outline color)? 4.: Text rendering is done by PLplot, or entirely by the selected device? If by device, is it possible to use cairo with pango from PLplot?
