Because of some of my own last-minute needs for getting a major topic matured enough so that it is release-worthy, that freeze deadline has now slipped to at least December 8th, and ultimately might slip to December 10th, but that should be the latest allowed freeze date because we do need at least a week of testing without major code changes going on, and I really do want to stick with a release date of December 17th.
