  Yes, Ubuntu has this tool as well.   It keeps silence when asked for
the example:

$ apt-file update
Atingido:1 http://linux.teamviewer.com/deb stable InRelease
Ign:2 http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb stable
InRelease Obter:3 http://cran-r.c3sl.ufpr.br/bin/linux/ubuntu
bionic-cran35/ InRelease [3.609 B]

  So, no Fortran examples for Ubuntu.  :(
