As you can see, I was able to create an account; I just can't log in.
(Unless it uses JavaVirus, ActiveVirus, or VBVirus, which require a certain
insanity to allow to execute; but since only sociopathic sites use invasive
scripting technologies, I trust this one is not doing anything like that.
Only Java applets are reasonably safe; the other technologies are geek toys
designed for end users who don't care about network security). Note that it
really did ask me to use a localhost account...
I don't think this is an IE bug, since I can use IE to log into lots of
other sites. Mostly, when I have login problems with sites, it is because
they are trying to execute scripts on my machine. Since I teach courses in
network security, I give lab exercises to my students (e.g., a roomful of
DoD security experts) to compromise security systems, which involve ActiveX,
JavaScript, and VBScript (which is what Microsoft calls them). Only a fool
would let these execute.
