Hi,
I suspect this may not be the first email on the above subject ...........
I have been 'playing' for a while now with your plucker parser and reader,
using the PC version of the parser and the reader under POSE to evaluate
the results. Great Product, I have had great results in "spidering" whole
html-format books from my local filesystem into useable plucker databases.
As a UNIX / apache sysadmin the config file approach is right up my street,
although I suspect those used to Billy "wizard" installs might think it a
bit involved ....
Only problem is ... you guessed it ... my Handera's non-standard res.
Viewer works fine in 160 x 160 mode but resembles a postage stamp - in
fit-to-size mode it hangs.
Any ideas ? Think it's a big job to add support ? I really want to use this
app ! If someone contacted handera maybe they could work with you on a fix
- it would surely be in their interests as the hi-res screen and plucker
are made for each other.
Any input would be much appreciated !
Regards,
Gordon Millar
p.s. know anyone who's built the parser on HP-UX 11 ? I'd love to use one
of my servers to crunch through a book or two, precompiled binaries/files
in depot format would be a real winner
