current CVS tree parser works fine on Mac OS X

I've recently come into possession of a Mac, running OS 10.1.3, so I
tried installing the parser, and parsing some stuff.  I found a bug in
the configure script -- now fixed -- but everything else works fine
(using Python 2.2 and PIL).
