This point applies to the subset of potential plucker users which have
Java installed but not Python already.  Anyone have an idea how many
people that includes?  Is it the majority of new users?

I'm not trying to argue here - just honestly trying to get a feel for
the issues involved.   For instance, I would expect most Linux users would
have Python and Java installed anyways.  I would expect most Mac and Window
users (especially Windows XP, etc.) not to have either installed.
