I don't think that's an issue.  How many potential Plucker folks _care_
whether Java or Python does the processing to create files Plucker can view?
They download the Plucker distribution files, run the installer, and hot
sync to get the Plucker binary on thier PDA.  As long as they can
right-click on a local HTML file and select Convert to Plucker (under
Windoze, at least), or pluck a web site, and hotsync the result to thier
PDA, what the desktop component is written in won't matter.  They'll just
want it to work.
