Hi! I want to thank you for Plucker and Plucker Desktop. I really appreciate all the work you've put into them.
You've asked for feedback, I've got some suggestions. If it matters, I'm using Win98SE with a Visor, and have had no errors with Desktop. These are some usability suggestions, not problems or complaints. * Change "Add a new channel" wizard so that choices are from the "Plucker Showcase", and have an "Expert" button to add your own URL. * Expand "Plucker Showcase" * Plucker Desktop to autoupdate the "Plucker Showcase" by pulling a page from the plkr.org (or other) site * "Plucker Showcase" to handle all parameters (but of course user can change that) so that adding a channel can be as easy as clicking "Add channel" then selecting a channel. * Import sitescooper ".site" files to be used in "Plucker Showcase" - there are a lot of them (although I don't like the everything on one page approach that sitescooper uses) * Schedule "Commandline update due channels" in OS scheduler so this can be done without user intervention Kenward Bradley [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mp3.com/twinkleelf _______________________________________________ plucker-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-dev
