As have already been pointed out the "advantages" are already available for the mailing list. If you started to use a differet system for communication then I can point out one major disadvantage: - some core developers will be missing Now, some of you might think it is an advantage that I'm not there to complain about lousy mail etiquette, but in the long run you will still lose if core developers don't take part in the discussions. BTW, I find it a bit amusing that newcomers always are so quick to suggest that we should abandon the mailing list. Do you really think we would continue to use a mailing list if we didn't think it was a good way to communciate? ;-) Also, since I have all the message locally I can search in every mail sent to our mailing lists since '98 without going online and I wouldn't want to lose that possibility. /Mike _______________________________________________ plucker-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-dev
