As a new convert from AvantGo, one of the things I really enjoy about
Plucker is that the page reaping does _not_ occur while I'm burning
precious AAA battery power. I approve of the notion of a conduit for
hassle-free operation, but please make sure that the current operative
mode is still available for us power users.
