In other words, you are replacing one limitation with another (i.e. there is a limit to how wide the image can be.) The only solution that will be added to the viewer is a solution that doesn't add new limitations (except for available memory:) If you check the archive you will see that my suggestion would be able to display images of any size (well, it will be limited by the size of the PDB, i.e. the number of records you can include:) I'm sure my suggestion from back then can be improved (I have learned a few more things about PalmOS programming since June 2000:) I did write some code back then, but since there was no response on the parser side (and I didn't really consider it to be that important to turn the viewer into an image viewer) I "suspended" that work and concentrated on other more important features... I did discuss it with Bill when I met him at PARC in 2001, but I'm not sure if he has put any more work into that particular feature (I haven't). Anyway, your current suggestion will not be used, but don't throw away the code. Maybe some part of it can be used for a solution that can handle images that have been split in both directions (maybe you would even be interested in implementing such a solution?) Still, it might be a good idea to wait until we know what would be possible to create in the parser... /Mike _______________________________________________ plucker-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-dev
