I've seen alt tags larger than 32 characters. The CAPTION would be used to label the image when it's presented in-line in text. Remember, not all images using this new record type have to be big. The IMG tag in the HTML spec also supports TITLE. While we're at it, I'd also like to support the left and right align positions; that is, tags to allow the image to float to the left or right, and flow the text around it. At least in the format, if not in the actual PalmOS viewer code. I think I can implement it in the GTK+ viewer.
