Interesting.. to say the least. Alot of the negative features of plucker are addressed with other apps such as jpluck, but that's beside the point. I can probably only really comment on what affects me, in which case the points: # uncompressed images can only be <60Kb # font support is incomplete for OS5 machines such as Sony NX, NZ, TG, Tungsten # doesn't do double-density fonts (someone with OS 5 confirm please) (Albeit those last two points are technically the same problem:) .. I have given myself a deadline of Apr 13th to fix. Since ofcourse the image problem needs to be addressed both on the parser and on the viewer, I can atleast attest that the viewer side'll be hopefully ready by then. There's one issue which I have with the way how this reviewer is written. It wasn't exactly written against an even playing field. Let me give you an example. Going back to the "doesn't do double-density fonts" issue. I just downloaded and installed ISilo onto my Tungsten and found out that it doesn't support this feature either. I'm curious if the only reason why its listed as a negative point is becuase I mention it on the hires site? The reviewer wasn't even using a device that is affected by this problem, so it was impossible for him accurately validate one feature to another on each system. Oh well, I'll get this fixed up soon enough. (By the way, I was never able to verify that isilo isn't bound by the 60k image limitation as well, neither did the reviewer. Afterall, it is a limitation of the hotsync protocol, can anyone else comment?) -- Adam McDaniel Array.org Calgary, AB, Canada _______________________________________________ plucker-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-dev
