I thought as much, so I really should have mentioned that the
Standalone.h functionality and the ARM compiler both appeared at the
same time (2.2) -- and that's not a coincidence :-). So just checking
for the availability of arm-palmos-gcc, as you're doing, is entirely
sufficient.
