> What's the advantage of using anything other than --fragmentation=seamless?
Backwards compatibility of the file if you make it available for people with old viewers. I would make --fragmentation=seamless default, and add some helpful note somewhere in the docs about how the files produced won't be compatible with pre-1.5 versions. (Basically, these users will see only the first 32K of each page.) > Is it a longer render time of a page in the viewer? Slightly. I doubt one would notice it unless one had 3 megs of html or something like that. > I haven't tried a fragmentation=seamless yet. Does it mean you just keep > scrolling downwards forever until the end of the whole .pdb? Only until the end of the page--but it works for pages >32K.
