If anybody wants a kerned font with italics without having to run
PalmFontConv, Utopia 18 is now uploaded to palmgear:

I am aware of one bug. Kerning doesn't work well with colored text on OS4
Sony Hi-Res. (Glyph elements outside the "standard" bounding box are cut
off in colored mode.)
