I've searched a little bit about this, and I guess that the problem is that the PilRC-version I've used are 2.9p2. The compile-log says something about p5 or newer. I'm going to try a newer version as soon as I find one... Can this be the workaround for the menuproblem too?
PilRC is available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pilrc. The most recent version of 3.0b5; a Win32 binary is available, which comes with source that can be built on other systems. A final 3.0 release will likely be out in January, but b5 is very, very close.
