Hi,
I didn't want propose to have the fiveway to be device (T3) specific. I
just find the behavior that I have on my T3 very useful and also easy to
use. Currently I have to use a second hand (and a pen) for changing categories.
With changing the right/left button behavior to change categories this would
not be needed anymore. Of course I agree to have same behavior on all devices.

Best regards,
  Carsten.

I would have to disagree with this device-specific approach. My
Tungsten T2 doesn't use the left/right in the same way in the launcher as
it does on the your T3. The same with the Treo90 vs. Treo300. The jogdial
behaves very differently on both devices in the same applications.

We should strive to make Plucker's behavior consistant across all
devices, not device-specific, based on the existing behaviors of the
devices themselves.

Check vfsfile.c:

            "/Palm/Programs/Plucker/",
            "/Palm/Ebooks/",
            "/Palm/Launcher/"
