As I understand it, this is something the user can change, and Ruben is only changing the if-you-don't-customize default. The viewer would still have all the capabilities of a regular plucker viewer -- and more than an earlier mainline release or a minimal build. I understand asking him to use a slightly different version number (like the "cvs" and "date" in snapshot builds). I assume he would also include his own contact information for support, just because he'll already know what happened.
