I deleted the old one, zlib etc, and installed 1.8. Still looks the same. Very strange if this is supposed to fix it. The only other thing - I installed the 'normal resolution' viewer - which I presume is the right one for a greyscale old palm like that? Rotation would be independent of whatever you produced the actual plucker books with? I compare it to my wife's, and I installed the same stuff on hers a long time ago (and it has 1.8 viewer) and it seems the only difference it the missing of the 'rotate' line between line spacing and paragraph spacing in the interface, everything else appears to be the same. I am definitely stuck now. Her machine says it has on the handheld Plucker 1.8 Zlib 1.1.4-1 on the SD card (exactly the same hardware as mine) Zlib 1.1.4-1 On mine Plucker 1.8 Zlib 1.0 on the SD card Zlib 1.1.4-1 Zlib 1.0 Is it the strange Zlib differences that have anything to do with it? Which Zlib version should be in 1.8? Thanks, Richard Quoting "David A.
