This is being sent because I'm worried my questions didn't go through
the first time. It didn't show up in the mail-list archive that I can
see, and no one responded. It's possible no-one knows a solution of
course, but previous problems have been answered despite obscurity,
and have shown up in the mail-list archive.
Apologies if this turns out to be an unwelcome re-post.

Subject: In Mac OS X install wizard, "Handheld User" is blank

I've used both Plucker and JPluck for years. I've recently let my
Palm T3 run out of reserve power, and lost its contents. I'm starting
a new install of all my Palm stuff on my PowerBook, including Plucker.
Plucker Desktop appears to be running fine, but when I run the setup
wizard, it doesn't give a default Handheld User to select in the
pulldown. My suspicion is that this is because instead of Palm's
Hotsync Manager and such, I'm using Markspace's "Missing Sync" and
Apple's iSync to manage the Palm's contents.
How do I point the OS X version of Plucker Desktop at the right spot
to find my user information, install the viewer software on my T3,
and live happily ever after?
Hopefully,
Brian
