Remember, the only thing supporting transparency in a standard desktop
browser is .gif images (and only recently, .png). When you convert those to a
Tbmp (Tiny Bitmap) on the palm, you get the representation you see. You may
have to play with the greyscale template files (palmgray4.map in your case) to
get the desired effect you're seeking.
