I found the problem to be the default python install on redhat 7.x (python 1.5, I believe). redhat seems to need this version for other things, so I installed python 2 to a different location. Then I had to replace the first line of all the plucker python modules to use the new python2 instead of the old python. This solved the problem for me. Good luck, -Dave Chevalier
