Well, I'm overjoyed to report that I'm 95% of the way to ousting AvantGo from my Palm for good. I have Plucker now plucking happily on both my main Red Hat box (patched urllib.py, thank you very much) and Mac OS X (via the CVS version, though my Palm Desktop beta seems to be too wonky to sync at the moment). It's quite a beautiful thing to behold, and the results are wonderful, tho I'm still relegated to 16 greys for Mac OS X because of PIL.
I've tracked down most of the Palm-friendly URLs for the AvantGo channels I normally use, thanks to the the appendix of the manual and the liberal typing of "www.xxxxx.com/avantgo/" and /pda and /ago.... But I was wondering if there was a sort of centralised database of Palm-friendly sites, especially that users might contribute to? cheers, dj
