Hi all.. I'm just putting the final touches on the hires support for Sony Clie devices and plucker, and curious what the general public's consensus is on implementation.
Currently, I have am going to have a checkbox in the preferences right beside the depth selection and enables/disables hires support. It's off on a fresh install by default, should I set that to on if the device supports it for a default selection? Then ofcourse the user can decide explicitly if they want it on or off for a more permanent setting. As well, the checkbox itself is hidden for devices that don't support hires. For fonts, selections will include tiny, tiny bold, small, small bold, standard, standard bold, large, large bold. Are all these bold options necessary/used? The narrow font looks EXTREMLY small, (height of tiny, half as wide) should it be ported to the standard font's size? left out, included? That's it for now, .. Right now im just debugging a few UI issues. As soon as thats done people should begin to betatest it I would think. Once all thats finalized, the next thing would be setting up hires for handera devices using the codebase developed under this sony branch. -- Adam McDaniel Array Networks Calgary, AB, Canada
