Ok, I've got it working on XP and NT4 (didn't try the manifest theme stuff on XP yet)
A couple of notes. For some reason my Internet Explorer window does not always show the underscore '_' character. I'm reading this stuff in hotmail, and your message does not show the underscores in the plucker_desktop directory name. However, when I hit reply, the quoted text does show it. So I had a bit of problems when first setting this up, until I added the underscore which was invisible to me in the directions. Wierd. Another thing for some to watch out for. I tried a program called flingit a while back. It is based on plucker with a few differences. I had uninstalled it shortly after, but the uninstall forgot to reset something in the registry. I'm glad you mentioned the registry key in your message, as I went to the key, and found it pointing to the non-existant flingit\plucker directory. Fixed this, and I was up and running. Wow, this makes setup easier. Only problems so far is that browsing the chanel showcase seems to crash the plucker desktop after a few seconds. >To install: >1. Probably just something wierd on my system.
