Hmm. That's not right. I will take a closer look at that section of the installation script. If there is an error in the script, it will be fixed, otherwise it will be sent over to the maintainer of the setup program (the install software (InnoSetup) is a late beta, so may have possibly some issues like this). I agree it it annoying when things don't install where expected. > 2) The tooltip text is far too close in shade to the background > for me to be able to read easily, and I've got pretty good > eyes. (I can take a screensnap if anyone wants to see it.) Sure. If you could send a screenshot to me that would be great. The software doesn't set this though, tooltip textcolor should be the one used elsewhere on the OS for tooltips. If it isn't, then it is an aberration I will fix in the library. > 3) I had an old plucker installation, but it didn't seem to pick > up any of my old channels. Even an option to import a channel from another > version of plucker would have been great, but I didn't see it. It should pick up previous channels in your plucker.ini. We decided last fall to move from the .DB folder approach to a unified approach in plucker.ini. I definitely agree there should be an option to import or export a channel. The menu item was set aside for this purpose (currently just has clipboard import/export). >4) The details when I'm updating channels doesn't scroll to the >bottom. I think that is a very valid point. This shouldn't be too difficult to implement in a future version. I think the progress widget will be programatically rewritten as a "virtual" listctrl widget--by virtual I mean that no data gets actually stored in the control, it just gets and retrieves the lines from the program as required. This will remove any functional upper limitation on the number of lines it can hold, since it doesn't actualy hold any. When this is done, might as well do the autoscrolling in the way you suggest. Will add to TODO. > I think that's it for now, aside from mentioning once again that > you've done a phenomenal thing with this release.
