As Avantgo used to have thier file import format/file type, now that there
is a desktop component, we should make a file format that can easily be
created and shared.

Example:

FILE: computeruser.plk
CONTENTS:

[ComputerUser]
bpp=8
doc_name=Computer User
home_url=http://www.computeruser.com/avantgo/index.html
verbosity=1
referrer=
user_agent=
before_command=
after_command=
home_maxdepth=3
home_stayonhost=1
home_stayondomain=0
home_url_pattern=
exclusion_lists=
charset=
indent_paragraphs=0
anchor_color=#0000FF
alt_text=1
maxwidth=150
maxheight=250
alt_maxwidth=1000000
alt_maxheight=1000000
compression=zlib
image_compression_limit=50
category=News
no_url_info=1
owner_id=
copyprevention_bit=0
backup_bit=0
launchable_bit=1
update_enabled=0
update_frequency=1
update_period=daily

---

Maybe even add the ability to base64 encode the icons and attach them too.
Once this is imported, it would present the use with a filled in add
channel dialog. Some thought should be put into what options are imported
and what ones are not allowed.

Example:
copy_to_dir=D:\PluckerOut
doc_file=channels/ComputerUser/ComputerUser

These would be installation specific and should be auto populated from the
defaults/generated.

The install should associate all .plk (or whatever we pick) files and
maybe application/x-plucker too. Run the desktop in a mode to import this
file format. Have it first populate the dialog with the defaults, then
overwrite only the items included in the imported file.

You can decide if this format should allow for importing more than one
channel at a time.

So, what do you think?
