I like the idea of supporting a customizable icon for a Plucker channel description. The channel description in many cases is going to be a description of some content-provider's content on a website on the Internet. Thus another option to consider might be to just have a link to the icon, since already have a link to the start page. Similar to how home_url= can support either file:// for a local file or http:// for a remote file, just add this capacity to the big and small icon config keys (if they don't don't have this capacity already). This would be similar to the implementation of the favicon.ico link in desktop website pages, and the URL to an icon specified by RDF files in syndicated content descriptions. > http://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types/application/prs.plucker It could be considered to have one type of media-type for the actual binary Plucker file, and another media-type for the channel description of the site that can be used to run through the distiller to make a Plucker binary file.
