..then I think we should remove it from the [DEFAULT] section
completely or set it to 0 there, so that the subsections can override it
with their specific needs. Remember, the default section is also there to
specify the _lowest_ common denominator of values, so that if other sections
are lacking them, it will fall back to the default section.

Ok, so we agree. That's three of us for adding '0' as the identifier
for "None" thus far. If you wish to set this in the default section, set it
to '0' there, and override it in other subsections. This should be the case
anyway, since you probably don't want alternate images in every single
webpage you pluck with the distillers, generating useless bloat.
