I have over 20 applications on my Windows machine that store their settings in <user home>. Granted, this way of saving settings comes from the Unix world, but JPluck is cross-platform. > Unless you really expect JPluckX to run multiple users on one system, > I humbly suggest you keep the settings with the executable, at least > on Windows. The best solution is to specify the configuration file on the command-line. This way you can store it anywhere you want and the application doesn't have to take into account platform-specific cases(which only require more work and maintenance). Will implement this for the next release.
