Hello everyone,
I am trying to get the Windows XP Task Scheduler to run plucker desktop at
5 AM in the morning so I can wake up at 7:30, hotsync my palm, and go to
work.
Currently I have set up a task that runs the following command-line:
"C:\Program Files\Plucker\plucker_desktop\plucker-desktop.exe" --update-due
This works fine, but the only problem is that when my screensaver goes off
at night, it password-protects the computer (this is necessary since I have
roommates whom I don't want logging on), and it seems like the task can't
run once the computer is password-protected, even though I've entered my
username and password under "Run as" in the task scheduler properties. This
isn't a horrible thing, really, since plucker automatically gets to work as
soon as I enter my password in the morning; so I can just wake up, enter my
password, and by the time I'm ready to go to work plucker's finished. But
still, this method isn't that different from running plucker manually, and
plucker takes a long time to update all my channels, so I'm wondering if
there is some easy way to get past this.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.
Atul
