Atul, I do the same thing with Scheduer for Win2k, and had the same problem.
There's a funny Plucker desktop 'quirk' that's been discussed in this group. The problem is solved by being sure that the "Show Progress" preference (Preferences / Spidering tab) is set to " A progress dialog" AND that you have set the progress dialog to NOT show 'details' when spidering (the check box for this is in the actual progress dialog window) This is also in the ini file but I don't remember offhand where. -- Chan Webb On Fri, 13 Dec 2002 08:54:27 -0600, you wrote: >Hello everyone, > > I am trying to get the Windows XP Task Scheduler to run plucker desktop at >5 AM in the morning so I can wake up at 7:30, hotsync my palm, and go to >work. > > Currently I have set up a task that runs the following command-line: > > "C:\Program Files\Plucker\plucker_desktop\plucker-desktop.exe" --update-due > > This works fine, but the only problem is that when my screensaver goes off >at night, it password-protects the computer (this is necessary since I have >roommates whom I don't want logging on), and it seems like the task can't >run once the computer is password-protected, even though I've entered my >username and password under "Run as" in the task scheduler properties.
