I'm still lost.

My original message pointed out that incorrect UI design was undoubtedly
causing users to have problems even when using the program normally.

I'm actually a supporter of manners, but I don't see how "please" fits into
that, since I wasn't asking for anything.

Do you use "please" when you inform someone that they've left their headlights
on in the parking lot?
