Hi,

I had the same effect using Plucker Desktop for Linux. Also, moving the mouse
within the progress bar windows has the same effect. Im my opinion, Plucker
Desktop slows down, when no mouse action is detected. Now I use the option
"Show spider progress with: A console window" under "Preferences ->
Spidering" and everything works without the need to move the mouse.

Bye,
  Juergen
