Some more info is in order here: the ZIP should be extracted with directory names. This ensures that the JAR files replace those in the "build" subdirectory. If you don't unpack them this way you end up overwriting one of the executable JARs. The structure looks like this, with file sizes in KB jpluckc.jar - 1kb, used only to start JPluck C jpluckx.jar - 1kb, used only to start JPluck X build/jpluck.jar - 171kb, JPluck core library <-- This is updated build/jpluckx.jar -245Kb, JPluck X and JPluck C application files <-- This is updated I'm looking into creating a better patching mechanism. Maybe I'll also create a Web Start-enabled version (which can auto-update itself by downloading only the classes that have changed). NOTE! Please e-mail bug reports to me directly.
