OK, JPluck handles .png images. Then please explain the ERROR message.

James is using the Java distiller, which is plucker-build recompiled to
Java. JPluck is also written in Java but is a new effort not based on the
existing Plucker tools. Anyway, JPluck handles PNG images fine.
