I am trying to install jPluck v0.9 beta 5 on a Win2k machine. I also have Plucker Desktop v1.2.0.2 installed.
When open jPluck, the spash screen displays and then, after a few seconds, a message box pops up (from Java by the looks of the OK button) titled "Could Not Open Scheduler" and stating "Could not open the Schedule database. Databases cannot be accessed simultaneously by multiple applications. Proceeding without using the Scheduler. Restart jPluck to try again." When I click OK, them message box and the splash screen disappear - jPluck does not start. This occurs with either the jpluck-0.9-beta5-windows-setup-jre.exe or jpluck-0.9-beta5-windows-setup.exe. I previously installed jPluck but then uninstalled it. I also verified that it did not exist in the conduit, that no file or folder beginning with jpl and associated with jPluck existed on the machine, and that no reference to anything beginning with jpl and associated with jPluck existed in the Registry. Any ideas? Dave __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
