You can take these comments as those of a user or of
an old fart who started programming using BASIC on a
GE mainframe when variable names were limited to 1
(one) character.

Laurens, in my mind, has contributed a great deal (and
some great software) to the Plucker community.  He
plays by the rules of SourceForge.

Open Source means just that - the source code is
available.  It doesn't mean that it is available on
SourceForge's CVS system.  Just because that might be
more convenient for the community, it doesn't mean
that it is convenient for the developer and, if not,
the developer doesn't need to use it.

Opener than thou bickering doesn't serve the Plucker
project of the open source community.  Let's drop it
and get on with the important work of undermining the
closed source world.

Today AvantGo, tomorrow Microsoft.
