People,

Currently I have found it good enough to download the entire site or pages
of interest using WinHTTrack, and then fidelling around offline.

If the content that interests is delimited by comments in the code, it is
easy enough (and fast) to remove the undesired code using BKReplacem. This
way you can alter all files at once, pretty fast.

If the problem is somewhere in the actual code, causing Plucker to encounter
a problem when plucking, then a HTML Tidy (or is it Tidy HTML?) can help by
"cleaning" undesired code. This solution in particular helped me when
plucking some huge sites and books.

All these three programs are free and have lots of options, so you will have
to read the instructions and have a few tries before arriving at the ideal
settings for a specific site, but it is definitely worth it.

However, all these comments on JPluck sound interesting, and I will
definitely take a look at it when I get home.

Cheers,

ML
