Ahhh. Bugtracker - I wasn't realising that there's another menu-bar at
the bottom of the page. - Thanks for that hint.

Anyway, are you talking about bug 598
(http://bugs.plkr.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=598) ? If so
there are no remedies for plucker desktop 1.6

Although some of my problems seem to be related to that bug (no update
of progress bar) The rest of the distilling process seems to work fine
for the other folks. So far I've run out of patience before distilling
was complete (after 45 - 60 mins). Especially since I was distilling
only newsticker items.

That's also why there was the second part in my initial mail:

This complies with what's suggested in Bug 786
http://bugs.plkr.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=786

However, to me there seems to be more wrong than just the progress bar.

Any ideas, where to look?

Thanks

Stefan.
