Even if the data changed and they didn't mind the load, does anyone sync
their palm frequently enough to take advantage of this? I would set it up
as "hourly" or something, and have the conduit generate the document
during the HotSync process.
My setup is thus: in JPluck, AutoUpdate is turned off, but I have a
couple JXLs selected and a few things set up as "Hourly" in those JXLs.
In the JPluck Conduit, I have AutoUpdate at HotSync turned on.
If it's been an hour since my last sync, I get fresh content. Sure, it
slows down the sync a bit, but I don't do huge things with this level of
frequency. I only do a couple low-bandwidth weather sites and Google News
like this. Most everything everything else is updated with daily or
weekly frequency, and I have a 4 AM, I run a JPluckC process which catches
most of that content.
