I'm doing this with yahoo maps and plucker. I'm basically creating a local web page with a bunch of links to the "printable" versions of "driving directions" pages, and then I run plucker against that local web page.
Seems to work well, but I live in fear of the day when yahoo rearranges their links, as many sites do from time to time.
