Yes, the Tungsten E/Zire71&72 have a screen buzz problem. Not sure if
Palm has corrected it. According to many people on the palm boards,
including http://www.brighthand.com, the buzz is caused by the
materials inside being too tightly packed. The processor causes the
humm when it does not have enough space to let off its noise w/out
toughing a surrounding part. Kind of like a gasonline engine at
idle...but VERY annoying! Palm acknowledged the problem but said that
it is "normal". If I see on my palm forum sites anything about the E2
having the same problem.... well I won't be upgrading if that is the
case. The Tungsten T3/C/E2 don't seem to have the same problem,
however.

I suggest you check out Brighthand. Your questions will be most
easily answered, good luck.
