Maybe a re-install will work. I can't suggest anything else at the moment.

Anybody else want to help?

Thanks. The name in File->Preferences->Document is the same as my
re-named PDA. The HotSync option is selected as well.

Is there some chance that there is more than just the name involved in
routing the files?

When I verified the name in Preferences, when I attempted to close the
dialog I encountered an error stating that the Firefox Cookies.txt file
was not where it was expected to be. This leads me to wonder if it isn't
looking for other stuff in the wrong area as well...?

Do I need to reinstall JPluck to get it to behave?

Why not route the files to a directory and use a card reader to load onto your PDA? Are you using WindowsXP? Search the Registry for jpluck and change the conduit value.
