Hi I've been having trouble with plucking PalmInfocenter - it used to work fine but over the past month or so I've found that it rapidly gets to about 80% and then takes a very long time to complete (given enough time it will eventually complete). Whilst it's in this 'slow' phase I find that normal internet access on my machine doesn't seem to work (due to time outs).
All other sites I'm plucking do so quickly and without this problem. I'm using Jpluck (2.1.6b). I tried recreating the JXL but to no avail. Switching back to the URL in the Jpluck 'showcase' works fine (it's at http://www.palminfocenter.com/palm/) but misses out on all the user comments - I'm instead using http://www.palminfocenter.com/mobile/ (with a link depth of 2) - this is the URL recommended for mobile/PDA users by PalmInfocenter themselves! Many thanks for any suggestions. My workround for just now is to rename the site 'zPalmInfocenter' - that way I can just cancel it's conversion if I'm in a rush. Not really the ideal solution though.
